Energy efficiency the key to US green economy, according to McKinsey reportp

The US economy has the potential to reduce annual non-transportation energy consumption by roughly 23 per cent by 2020, eliminating more than $1.2tn in waste - well beyond the $520bn upfront investment (not including programme costs) that would be required, according to a new report from McKinsey & Company.
