Arrow begins geothermal plant project in Pacific Basin

9 Mar 2012

US-based Arrow Resources Development has joined forces with The Asian Development Bank (ADB) to begin its testing process for the construction of a Geothermal Power Plant, in the Pacific Basin.

The testing process for the construction will look at the patent-pending Single Well Engineered Electric Turbine System (SWEETS).

ADB has said it is committed to financing the next steps of the project which will include the development of the engineering plan and construction of the 50MW facilities.

Arrow looks to develop and coordinate operations, finance, sales and marketing activities as well as keeping a close watch on corporate citizenship programmes for natural resource development in the Asian market.

Late last year, Arrow selected the site of its first geothermal power plant, in Lampung, Indonesia.
