Algal Biomass Organisation disparages report claiming algae has higher environmental impact than other crops

The US trade association for the algae industry, the Algal Biomass Organisation (ABO) has challenged the conclusions of a report published in Environmental Science and Technology that claims conventional crops have lower environmental impacts than algae in energy use, greenhouse gas emissions and water.
