Enerkem, a biofuels technology company, plans to build and operate a second-generation biofuels production facility in Mississippi, US. In addition, the company has signed an agreement with the Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority of Mississippi (TRSWMA) for the supply of around 189,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste per year as feedstock.
