Renewable oil company Solazyme awarded California Energy Commission grant

Venture-backed renewable oil production company Solazyme, Inc., has been awarded a $789,697 Biosynthetic Transportation Fuel Production grant from the California Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) programme.
