Emerging technology-focused venture capital firm Velocity Venture Capital promotes two to general partner, holds first closing on $60m fund

Californian venture capital firm Velocity Venture Capital has promoted Farid Dibachi and Henry Montgomery to general partner, according to reports. The firm, which focuses on investments in the cleantech, life sciences, software and internet sectors, has also held a first close on its third fund, which has a target of $60m.
