Venture capital investment into clean technology companies by US firms has increased by about two-thirds since the economic dip of early 2009 in the first quarter of the year, driven by energy efficiency and electric vehicle deals, according to a recent study.

Going green requires a shift in the way of thinking. If the econimcs aspect of renewable energy is supported by government incentives, then we can see a big jump in industries like geothermal, solar, wind turbine, and etc.

I think you are right. The finance industry needs to be overhauled, but not the Obama way. I am not holding my breath for immediate improvement though.
