ReVolt Technology applies for $30m in government research grants for its zinc-air batteries for vehicles and renewable energy storage

Oregon, US-based ReVolt Technology, a developer of rechargeable zinc-air batteries, is applying for $30m in grants from US Department of Energy under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act to accelerate the commercialisation of its large format zinc-air batteries for energy storage and electric vehicle applications.
