The plants will have a combined capacity of 5.25MW, with AEG providing inverters, transformers and medium voltage switchgear.
In addition, the company will provide monitoring components and communication infrastructure, which will work with the local grid operator to ensure a smooth power supply.
AEG and 3W will deliver and commission the equipment, with all technology expected to be set up by the end of the year.
Philippe Capron, managing director of 3W Power in Ukraine, said, ‘Our local presence and our ability to fulfill local requirements makes a difference. We started to manufacture our first container solutions in Ukraine one month ago and this contract proves that it was the right move.’
Henrique Rodrigues, CEO of Martifer Solar, added, ‘This is another important step in the international expansion of Martifer Solar.
‘We are very pleased with our entry into Ukraine, where our aim is to take a leading position in this high potential market, whilst providing economic and environmental benefits to the local population.’
