Investor-owned power and gas company E.ON said its first quarter EBIT in its new markets division, which encompasses its renewable energy activities, rose by 55 per cent to €246m. It said its climate and renewables segment in particular posted considerable higher adjusted EBIT on the back of a significant increase in its wind power capacity.
