Solar manufacturing technology company Nanometrics sees revenues rise in Q2 2009

Nanometrics, a supplier of advanced process control metrology systems used in the manufacturing of semiconductors, solar photovoltaics, high-brightness LEDs and wafer-scale packaging, has announced financial results for its second quarter. The company recorded revenues of $14.5m, up 44 per cent from the first quarter of 2009, though down 39 per cent from $23.8m in the second quarter of 2008.
