After reaching an agreement with Portuguese utility Águas de Portugal (ADP), SolFocus and Dreen Europe will install Concentrator Photovoltaic technology with a capacity of 8.5MW of peak power of at the company's facilities. The CPV design uses a system of reflective optics to concentrate sunlight 650 times onto highly efficient triple junction solar cells.
