UK general election cannot afford to delay renewable energy investment, says REA

The UK cannot afford any stalling if it is to meet its legally-binding renewable energy target, the CEO of the Renewable Energy Association (REA) said in response to last week's general election in which no party won enough votes to form a majority government.

    I completely agree that the UK government – whoever they are – must not lose focus on investment in renewable energy. The recently introduced feed in tariffs have created a much needed momentum which should not be stifled.
