Smart grid tech will not adress the major problems with grid efficiency, and is an intentional distraction and diversion of funding away from tru clean tech and hydrogen fuel infrastructure. Our grid is inefficient due to not storing the energy in a usable, transportable manner, which hydrogen accomplishes. Switching stations will do absolutely nothing to solve that major inefficiency problem, however it does put billions of dollars into the hands of those opposing hydrogen and other clean tech rollouts historically.
