US energy utility Tampa Electric looks to increase energy efficiency efforts by 70 per cent over the next ten years

US energy utility Tampa Electric has filed with the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) the company's proposed energy efficiency goal of 200 million kWh for the next ten years - an increase of 70 per cent over the company's current goal. The company plans to enhance several of its current 27 customer programmes and explore new programme opportunities for all customer sectors: residential, commercial and industrial, according to a statement.
