Clear Skies signs $5.7m Greek solar power project

Clear Skies Solar has entered into a $5.7m agreement with Achilles Chondronasios & Co. to develop and build a 960 KW solar power project in Greece.

This will be the company’s second signed agreement in Greece within the last three months, according to a statement.

Ezra Green, chairman and CEO, Clear Skies Solar, said, ‘Their current environment of available grants and favorable feed-in tariffs presents a great opportunity for the company, and we fully expect to see an increase in projects within the region.’

Earlier this month, Clear Skies Solar signed an $8m solar energy contract with Prayag Green Solar Power Private to develop and construct a 2 MW solar power project in Uttar, India.
