The US state of Oklahoma has signed a law to expand the use of clean energy and establish a renewable energy standard that targets 15 per cent of electricity to be generated from renewables by 2015. 
The International Energy Agency (IEA) said it will maintain its forecast for renewable energy generation to constitute 60 per cent of all electricity produced by 2030, according to reports. 
Reservoir Capital, a southeast Europe-focused project generator investing in renewable energy, said it will walk away from a deal with Ahmet Caliskan and Burcin Tunca for a 75 per cent interest in their portfolio of small-scale hydroelectric projects as it will not generate enough return for shareholders. 
Tucson Electric Power (TEP), which provides electricity in the south of the US state of Arizona, has agreed to purchase the output of ten new solar power systems, a landfill gas project and a wind farm that will together generate nearly 160MW of renewable energy.
