Zurich-based energy company Alter Energy to acquire Ukrainian hydroelectric stations

Zurich-based energy company Alter Energy Group has signed a letter of intent to construct and own five new hydroelectric power stations in Ivano-Frankovsk, Ukraine. Under terms of the agreement AEG will own 100 per cent of the stations as collateral for the required investment, currently estimated at €91m.
