Italian cleantech developer Enel Green Power has secured €112m in financing through the Danish government’s Export Credit Agency (EKF) for wind projects in Romania.
The company said it will use the 12-year funding to develop projects in the Eastern European country with a combined capacity of 118MW. In total, the company expects to spend €180m on the construction of the new facilities.
A guarantee through the EKF means interest on the loan will be less than the base rate and Enel will order some of the parts for the projects from Danish companies.
