Renewable energy developer Renewable Energy Systems (RES) has taken its first step into the Turkish wind power market with the acquisition of a 500MW portfolio of power projects worth €750m. The projects, many of which are at different stages of development, are to develop over a period of three to four years, although the first generating license is expected to be granted within the next few months.
