Following its acquisition of six wind farms earlier this month, retail major Ikea has installed a geothermal system at its as yet unopened Denver store in the US state of Colorado, representing the state’s largest building-integrated geothermal project. 
Reservoir Capital and its local partner Geofizika-Ing have begun running tests on two geothermal wells in southern Serbia.

The government of earthquake-prone Chile plans to invest at least $200m in geothermal development from now until 2012, the country’s Energy Minister Ricardo Raineri said.
