Companies are under more pressure than ever to introduce an environmental agenda, especially in light of the UK government's recently introduced Carbon Reduction Commitment, which is set to take effect in April 2010. It is estimated that approximately 5,000 firms will fall under the scheme which is set to reward companies who cut their greenhouse gas emissions and penalise those who do not.
