Solar photovoltaic manufacturer China Sunergy has recorded third quarter revenue of $145.8m, a 1.3 per cent increase over the second quarter and a 15.9 per cent rise on the same period last year. 
Germany-based photovoltaic specialist SolarWorld posted a €238m revenue in the third quarter, 30 per cent down on the same period in 2010 when the figure was €342m. 
Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer JinkoSolar has updated its guidelines for the quarter ending on 30 September with shipments and revenue expected to be slightly lower than previously forecast. 
US biofuel developer KiOR made a net loss of $14.8m in the third quarter of 2011, compared to a $10.6m loss in the same period last year. 
US power technology specialist the American Superconductor Company recorded revenue of $20.8m for the second quarter of fiscal 2011, down significantly compared to $98.1m in the same period last year but an improvement on the first quarter’s $9.1m.
Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer Suntech has announced preliminary financial results for the third quarter with shipments during the period expected to be up 15 per cent on the second quarter. 
Ditlev Engel, president and CEO of Danish wind energy company Vestas, made an announcement to staff this morning informing them of a plan to reduce fixed costs by at least an annual €150m by the end of 2012. 
US photovoltaic company SunPower has announced third quarter revenue of $705m, an almost 20 per cent increase compared to the second quarter's result of $592m and also up on the same period last year when the figure was $550m. 
US biofuel producer Amyris has recorded third quarter revenue of $36.3m, compared to $24.2m in the same period last year. 
US photovoltaic manufacturer First Solar has recorded third quarter net sales of $1bn, but slashed its profit forecast saying it would slow spending amid tough market conditions 
Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Goldwind has released quarterly results revealing a 75 per cent decline in net profit for the period running from 1 July to 30 September, compared with the same three months last year. 
US renewable energy conversion specialist Power-One has revised down its revenue estimate for the third quarter of 2011 from a range of $265m to $280m to a new forecast of between $240 and $245m. 
UK renewable energy supplier Good Energy has recorded a first half revenue increase of 4.7 per cent making a pre-tax profit of £425,000, up 23.8 per cent compared to the same period in 2010. 
Global developer of emission reduction and renewable energy projects Camco has announced first half revenue of €16.2m, a 47 per cent increase compared with the €11m level recorded in the same period last year. 
Dutch energy company Eneco has recorded net profit for the first half of 2011 of €133m, a 77 per cent increase on the same period last year when the figure was €75m. 
Water management company Hydro International has announced second quarter revenue of £13.7m, a 23.8 per cent increase on the same period in 2010 when the figure was £11.1m. 
Swiss solar equipment manufacturer Meyer Burger increased net sales by 61 per cent to CHF575m ($719m) in the first half of 2011 compared with the same period last year when the figure was CHF356.9m ($446.9m). 
Belgian biomass company 4Energy has recorded first half sales of €5.3m, a 17 per cent increase on last year’s figure of €4.5m. It made a small net profit of €0.1m. 
US solar component manufacturer Applied Materials has recorded third quarter net sales of $2.79bn, slightly down on the previous quarter’s $2.86bn but up on the third quarter of fiscal 2010 when the figure was $2.52bn. 
US hybrid and electric vehicle drive system developer Enova has recorded second quarter revenue of $2.5m, a 23 per cent increase on the same period in 2010.
