Honda launches new solar hydrogen electric vehicle station

Car maker Honda has begun operation of a next generation solar hydrogen station prototype at the Los Angeles Center of Honda R&D Americas, California, US, intended for use as a home refuelling appliance capable of an overnight refill of fuel cell electric vehicles.

European electric vehicle developer THINK invests $43.5m in US expansion

Global manufacturer of electric vehicles THINK has announced plans to begin selling THINK City, one of the world's first highway-capable urban electric vehicles, in the US later this year. The company plans to invest $43.5m in building improvements and equipment in Elkhart County, and said the plant could begin assembling vehicles in early 2011.
