German car-maker Daimler and Aabar Investments share investment in Tesla

German car-maker Daimler has sold 40 per cent of its stake in electric vehicle business Tesla Motors to Aabar Investments. This investment allows Daimler and Aabar to leverage their shared interest in the development of low-CO2 drive systems, the companies said in a statement.
