Greenhunter Energy acquires L&L for $27.5m, expands biofuel capabilities

Greenhunter Energy has agreed to acquire marine –based diesel fuel, methanol and lubricant suppliers L&L Holdings (Louisiana), together with its wholly-owned subsidiary L&L Oil and Gas Services, for approximately $27.5m. The deal includes 17 facilities along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, including deepwater terminaling assets.

Infrastructure-focused private investment firm Conduit Capital Partners has acquired a 50 per cent ownership stake in Brazilian hydroelectric company GLEP Energias Renováveis e Participações. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Brazilian National Development Bank commits $51m to hydro plants

The Brazilian National Development Bank (BNDES) has committed R$121.2m ($51m) to construct two small hydro power plants with a total capacity of 39 MW. The commitment was made to Rio PCH 1, a subsidiary of energy holding company Neoenergia Group.
