The Linde Group develops hydrogen process for fuel in Germany

The technology group The Linde Group is developing a process for the production of hydrogen from biogenic raw materials. The group's subsidiary, Hydromotive, is set to build a demonstration plant in mid-2009 in Germany to test the process.

Clinical Trials to sell 75 per cent stake to US fuel cell technology company Next Fuel

Clinical Trials of America, Inc. has entered into a binding letter of intent to sell 75 per cent of its issued and outstanding shares to Next Fuel, Inc., a developer of a hydrogen generation system that is used as fuel for fuel cells. As part of the deal, Next Fuel's shareholders will exchange their shares of Next Fuel for the acquired shares of Clinical Trials and Clinical Trials will change its name to Next Fuel.

California Fuel Cell Partnership unveils plan to deploy hydrogen fueling stations across the state

The California Fuel Cell Partnership has unveiled a strategy to deploy hydrogen fueling stations and fuel cell vehicles in California. The plan, entitled 'Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle and Station Deployment Plan: A Strategy for Meeting the Challenge Ahead' outlines the steps needed to meet the fuel needs of 4,300 passenger vehicles and 20 fuel cell buses by 2014.
