Racing car engineering company Lola Group is looking to target the renewable energy space by opening its facilities and offering its expertise to cleantech innovators. 
Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer Hanwha SolarOne recorded second quarter net revenues of RMB1.8bn ($277m), a decrease of 18.4 per cent from RMB2.2bn ($344m) in the first quarter and a 2.2 per cent increase on the same period in 2010. 
Chinese solar company JinkoSolar has opened an office in Zug, Switzerland as part of the company’s plan to expand its global footprint and increase operational capabilities throughout Europe. 
Swiss engineering company Foster Wheeler has been contracted to supply solar stream generator systems for two thermal solar projects in Spain.
