Water specialist Amiad Filtration Systems aims to double its revenues to $150m over the next five years and expects to report first half revenues that are 45 per cent to 50 per cent higher for the first half of 2011 compared to the prior year. 
Water specialist Amiad Filtration System is to provide its proprietary SpinKlin Disc Filters for the Aquapolo tertiary wastewater treatment project in São Paulo, Brazil. 
Water filtration business Amiad Filtration Systems saw its net profit fall by 53 per cent in 2010, despite higher revenues, mostly due to tighter margins and the cost of expansion and acquisitions. 
Water filtration supplier Amiad has acquired the remaining 50 per cent of the shares of its Chinese subsidiary, Yixing Taixing Environtec for $3.1m. 
UK renewable energy investor The Amplio Group has acquired a majority stake in Puresep Holdings, a UK-based water purification, filtration and separation company, further expanding its technology and services business.
