RENEWABLE ENERGY NEWS – CLEANTECH NEWS – ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY NEWS ESSENTIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR INVESTORS, INNOVATORS & DEAL-MAKERS

Holin Energy, a technology company, is seeking to raise £20m, required to purchase land and to build a full biofuel production facility.
The company has already been awarded the required patented technology rights to be able to produce non crop dependent biofuels via an aquatic micro algae process on an industrial scale.
Having completed its research and development, Holin has planned its initial production facility for the UK but intends to follow up with projects across Europe and the USA. Once the company completes its financing, it hopes to have the project online within nine months, with PPM drafted in to build the facility.
By-products including fertiliser and excess electricity production would be fed back into the local grid.
A company spokesperson said, ‘With the subject of fossil fuels, CO2 emissions, and the need for the creation of sustainable biofuels being such a global, political, hot potato, never has there been a need for such a ‘green’ product. The world-wide potential is incredible’
