Sustainable technology provider Metso supplies Finnish town with biomass system

Metso, a global supplier of sustainable technology, will supply Keuruun Lampovoima Oy with a biomass system for combined heat and power production in the town of Keuruu, Finland.

The project, scheduled to come online at the end of 2010, marks a total investment of €10m.

Of the system’s output, 15MW will be used for the Keuruu area, while 5MW will be utilised by the national grid.
