US Algal Biomass Organisation appoints four new board members

The Algal Biomass Organisation in the US has appointed four new board members and the re-election of an existing board member.

The four new members were Dr Ira Levine associate professor at the University of Southern Maine; Dr Margaret McCormich, general manger at Targeted Growth; John Pierce, a member at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Elizabeth Willett, business development manager at Mars Symbioscience. Dr Philip Pienkos was re-elected to a second term.

Founded in 2008, ABO is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to support the development of clean transportation and power generation fuels as well as other non-energy applications for algal biomass.
