Smart grid technology company Silver Spring Networks has hired Amy Cappellanti-Wolf as chief human resources officer.
Cappellanti-Wolf will be responsible for providing employee and leadership development at Silver Spring Networks and will report directly to Scott Lang, Chairman, CEO and president of the company.
‘Silver Spring Networks is growing and scaling domestically and internationally and Amy’s expertise will help us continue to bring great people into the company while maintaining the core culture of innovation and teamwork that is at the heart of Silver Spring Networks,’ said Lang. ‘With her deep knowledge of employee development and HR process and systems, we’re very fortunate to have her as part of our team.’
Most recently, she served as vice president of human resources at Cisco Systems.
‘It is exciting to join Silver Spring Networks at this stage in its growth,’ said Amy. ‘I look forward to working with the executive team to continue to develop the HR framework to meet the growth requirements of the company and to recruit the best and brightest innovators who will contribute to the important mission of helping to transform the utility industry.’
In May of this year, Silver Spring Networks, was selected by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to provide the network infrastructure for their Smart Capital initiative which will network approximately 600,000 homes and businesses in Sacramento County, US.
