FROG closes $8M Series B financing round

Smart building start-up, FROG, has closed an $8M Series B financing round which will enhance product development and sales of its building products and systems.

The financing was led by Rockport Capital Partners.

‘RockPort has a very impressive track record and we are excited to have them join the FROG team,’ said founder and CEO Mark Miller. ‘Their vision for energy and resource efficiency and innovative products is perfectly aligned with the Project FROG approach – to be better, greener, faster and cheaper – in that order.’

Project FROG’s focus will be on the $400bn US commercial construction industry.

Project FROG is a venture-backed company founded in 2006 with the mission of designing and manufacturing smart buildings.
