VantagePoint Venture Partners closes cleantech fund on $435m

Venture capital firm VantagePoint Venture Partners has closed its second cleantech fund on $435m, according to reports.

In May of this year, the firm expanded its cleantech group with the appointment of R James Woolsey as venture partner and Dave Edwards as a partner.

VantagePoint targets investments in cleantech, healthcare and technology companies.

The firm has over $4bn of capital under management.
