French battery developer Saft has raised €120m in share capital. The share increase was 180 per cent oversubscribed, amounting to €215.4m. According to Saft, proceeds from the capital increase will primarily be used to finance the group’s two industrial projects for lithium-ion battery production in the US, and will allow the Group to increase its financial flexibility.
