ReVolt Technology, a Swiss technology company, and BASF Future Business have formed a joint development agreement that will speed the development and commercialisation of ReVolt’s energy efficient rechargeable zinc-air battery system.
‘The ReVolt Technology team is very excited and honoured to have BASF as a development partner to transform energy storage for consumer and industrial applications,’ said James P McDougall, CEO of ReVolt Technology.
Under the joint development agreement, BASF will provide its material scientists and knowledge in the area of electrochemistry, and other component materials and subsystem elements for the continued development of these batteries.
