Californian solar power systems provider, Premier Power Renewable Energy, has completed the installation of multiple solar systems for the County of San Joaquin in California.
Premier Power Renewable Energy is a specialist in the development, design, engineering and construction of solar power systems.
The projects will generate approximately $1.3m in revenue for Premier Power and will utilise a combination of different solar module technologies, including Suntech crystalline modules, SunPower Powerguard modules and the first US installation of Solyndra modules.
In constructing their first new buildings in approximately 40 years, San Joaquin County seized the opportunity to go ‘green’ with its new administration building and new agricultural centre. With the help of Premier Power’s design and engineering team these solar photovoltaic systems are expected to generate approximately 250,000KWh of ‘green’ electricity per year, offsetting the County’s consumption of fossil fuels.
‘This project required a significant degree of design and engineering expertise,’ said Dean R Marks, CEO of Premier Power. ‘After researching many alternative energy options the County of San Joaquin chose Premier Power because of our unique design and our ability to be technology agnostic. As a company, we were excited to be involved with the County’s efforts to become an environmental leader in California.’
Premier Power Renewable Energy is a provider of large and small-scale solar power systems for commercial, government and utility markets in the US, Spain and Italy.
