Evolution Solar to market Amplesun Solar technology

Evolution Solar has signed a distribution agreement with Hangzhou Amplesun Solar Technology whereby Evolution will offer AmpleSun’s complete line of cutting-edge thin-film solar technologies and solutions to its domestic and international customers. Under the terms of the agreement, Evolution is a preferred provider of AmpleSun’s solutions in North America, South America, Africa and the Caribbean.

‘We are thrilled to be one of the first to offer AmpleSun’s top quality thin film solar panels; these panels offer the highest performance and cost efficiency for our clients,’ said Robert Hines, president of Evolution Solar. ‘Product diversification is key and this relationship now allows us to offer additional solutions to our clients.’

Other companies implementing thin-film solar solutions include NASDAQ-listed First Solar, Applied Materials and Suntech Power Holdings.

Founded in 2008, AmpleSun will reach a production capacity of 120MW in 2010.

Evolution Solar has recently been introduced to a number of solar project opportunities in Bermuda and the Caribbean through its relationship with Saul Ewing law firm.
