OTB Solar partners forms alliance with German solar company Roth & Rau

European solar company OTB Solar has formed a strategic alliance with German solar technology company Roth & Rau.
OTB said it entered into the agreement with Roth & Rau after a wide selection and that the two companies share the same philosophy and a complementary product portfolio. OTB Solar said the strong financial position of Roth & Rau makes the alliance possible, which is intended to accelerate OTB Solar’s ambitious growth plan.
OTB Solar is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the OTB Group, a company that designs, engineers, develops and manufactures tailor made inline production equipment.
The core competence of Roth & Rau is plasma technology used in the photovoltaics and semiconductor industries. In late 2009, Roth & Rau India, Mumbai, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Roth & Rau, commenced operations. The company also announced plans to install additional service teams in Hyderabad, Delhi and Pune in the future.
