Sinosol builds German solar PV plant for Indian investor

7 September 2009

German solar company Sinosol is building a 7.4MWp solar photovoltaic project in southern Germany for an institutional investor from India.

Expectations are the plant will be completed by year-end.

The project in Nordendorf is a pilot project for further joint activities of Sinosol and the Indian investor who is planning to build an international photovoltaic portfolio of 200MWp until the end of 2010.

Both Sinosol and the investor have agreed on the take-over of a power plant portfolio in Europe with a combined capacity of 65MWp. The agreement spans both photovoltaic parks that will still be grid connected in 2009 as well as power plants that will be erected in 2010 by Sinosol Group.
