Software provider Camstar Systems acquires semiconductor company Technology Resources Group

Life Sciences software solutions provider Camstar Systems has acquired semiconductor systems integrator Technology Resources Group.

Scott Toney, CEO of Camstar, said, ‘This acquisition is a key part of Camstar’s strategy for dominating the manufacturing execution and quality management markets in Asia, which continues to grow as the production destination for global manufacturers. Also, we will be well positioned to serve the medical device and biotech industries as they expand manufacturing operations into Asia, ensuring product quality which is so critical to the life science sector.’

Technology Resources Group consults on manufacturing applications development for enterprise solution deployments, with headquarters in Singapore and offices in China and Malaysia. The company supplies advanced technology products and services to the semiconductor, solar and electronics industries in Asia.

Robert Rudder, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Camstar, said, ‘Our combined services and support teams will further enhance our ability to expand our current Systems Integrator and Reseller partner network in China, which is critical to Camstar achieving our growth targets in the local China market.’
