SunWize Residential Power Systems, the installation division of solar company SunWize Technologies, has launched a financing programme for its customers.
The programme, available to residential customers in California and Oregon, offers a loan of up to $45,000 for solar installations.
‘While a SunWize Solar Electric Solution dramatically reduces electricity bills and saves thousands of dollars, many people do not have an easy, cost-effective option for the initial cash outlay,’ said David Kaltsas, executive vice president at SunWize. ‘In addition to offering one of the highest limit solar loans in the market, the programme gives homeowners a year without payments and interest to realise the savings of their system and receive their tax credit.’
SunWize customers who participate in the residential solar financing programme have up to 12 months without payments or interest accruing and at the end of that period can either pay off the loan in full or convert it to a fixed interest installment loan.

This is great news for homeowners and a smart move by SunWize. One of the largest challenges for residential solar energy is the large up-front costs. This is a great way to eliminate or reduce that costs which will allow for more solar installations on homes.
