Solar system manufacturer Solyndra has raised $219.2m in a Series E financing from 23 investors, according to reports. Investors included Argonaut Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners, CMEA Ventures and Redpoint Ventures.
In November of last year, Solyndra, signed a long-term sales contract worth $320m with Carlisle Energy Services.
Solyndra designs and manufactures photovoltaic systems, comprised of panels and mounting hardware, for the commercial rooftop market.
