Barclay’s Natural Resource Investment’s team invests in American Wind Capital

Wind energy company American Wind Capital has announced that the Barclay’s Natural Resource Investments team of Barclays Capital has made a significant investment in the company.

With the new investment the company, who offers landowners that host renewable energy projects upfront cash payments that enable them to monetise their future rent payments, will be able to take on the resources needed to meet the demands of their customers.

Charles Hinckley, CEO of American Wind Capital, said, ‘We have an experienced team that has developed a focused and disciplined strategic plan — the financial backing of our world-class investors, the Barclays Natural Resource Investments team and NGP Energy Technology Partners, will give American Wind Capital Company the resources to successfully meet the needs of our customers.’

BNRI finds and partners with operational management teams with specific expertise and experience within the global natural resources sector, primarily in upstream oil and gas, upstream mining and power including renewables.
