Siemens opens new wind power training centre in Bremen, Germany

Siemens has officially opened a new wind power training centre in the city of Bremen. The technology company now offers a broad-based qualification program for customer personnel and service technicians from around the globe.

The training centre will join three other training facilities in Europe and the US.

The new Siemens training centre offers qualification and training options covering all aspects relating to the technology and operational reliability. The central feature of the new training centre is the original nacelle of a Siemens 2.3MW wind turbine

‘We see service as much more than a regular look into the nacelle. And precisely because we attach such importance to service, we have decided to set up a training centre for our service team here in Bremen,’ said René Umlauft, CEO of the Renewable Energy Division of Siemens Energy.

Siemens Energy supplies products, services and solutions across the energy industry.
