Bioenergy industry urges US to provide tax parity to algae-based biofuels

Industry group the Algal Biomass Organization (ABO) has urged Congress and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus and Ranking Member Charles Grassley to adopt an amendment to ensure algae-based fuels receive the financial and regulatory benefits currently afforded to other advanced biofuel feedstocks.
