Forum Overview

Many thanks to all those who attended NewNet’s 2010 Wind Energy Investor Forum. With more than 150 delegates registered, the Forum saw some of the industry’s leading participants gather to network and address the pressing issues facing the sector.

Alongside some of the wind energy industry’s most successful and promising companies, attendees also comprised leading investors, financiers and deal-makers with an interest in new business opportunities in this exciting space. Speakers discussed the myriad challenges and opportunities facing what is a rapidly growing sector, with presentations offering further insight into company growth, project financing and technological innovation.

As with previous NewNet Forums, the focus of the day was also on networking and building relationships with the evening drinks reception also offering delegates the opportunity to continue some of the conversations begun throughout the day.

What is NewNet?

NewNet is an organisation dedicated to the development of the renewable energy industry. In addition to hosting exclusive events, we serve the renewables industry with online information services, a global journal and research reports. We are not a generalist conference company looking to maximise revenue by running events in a range of areas. We believe in what we do and we are proud of the extensive renewables industry network we have developed and the fantastic support we have received from the industry’s leaders. This has enabled us to produce the highest quality of events, all of which have been sold out to date and have become priority future events for attendees.
